What You Get When You Work With Us

Regional Expertise

Deep familiarity with the Northern Thai business environment — suppliers, labour market, regulatory context, and regional distribution channels.

Clear Deliverables

Every programme ends with a specific written document — a health check report, positioning document, or resilience review — not a verbal debrief.

Fixed, Transparent Pricing

All programmes are priced in Thai Baht with the full fee stated upfront. No billing surprises, no scope creep without discussion.

Senior Consultants Throughout

The principal consultant who scopes your engagement leads its delivery. You work directly with senior expertise from start to finish.

Bounded Timelines

Engagements run 3 to 8 weeks. Your team can plan around them — no open-ended retainers or perpetually extended engagements.

Knowledge Left Behind

We explain our reasoning and walk your team through findings until the deliverable is genuinely understood. The outcome is capability, not dependence.

In More Detail

Each Benefit, Explained

Professional Expertise With Regional Grounding

Our consulting team has spent their careers working with businesses in Thailand and across mainland Southeast Asia. This is not generic business knowledge applied to a new geography — it's expertise built through twelve-plus years of engagements with companies operating in the same supply chains, facing the same regulatory environment, and competing in the same regional markets as your business.

When we review your operations or supplier network, we're comparing what we find against a real benchmark of what Northern Thai businesses at similar stages actually look like — not against a framework designed for a Western Fortune 500 company.

Structured Methodology, Not Ad-Hoc Advice

Each Lanna Drift programme follows a defined methodology. The Small Enterprise Health Check, for example, uses a structured assessment framework that covers three domains in a consistent sequence. This means the process is efficient, the findings are comparable to what we've observed elsewhere, and the deliverable has a predictable format that your team can engage with.

Structured methodology also means we can be clear about what the engagement covers and what it doesn't. If your situation has elements that fall outside the programme scope, we'll say so clearly rather than stretching the engagement in ways that reduce its quality.

A Collaborative, Respectful Working Style

We work alongside your team rather than issuing recommendations from a distance. During an engagement, we conduct structured interviews with the people who actually do the work, review real data rather than curated summaries, and involve relevant staff members in working sessions where possible.

This approach tends to produce better findings — we learn more when people feel they can speak frankly — and better uptake of recommendations, because your team has been part of developing the thinking rather than receiving it as a finished verdict.

Pricing That Reflects the Scope

Our three programmes are priced at āļŋ7,500, āļŋ16,800, and āļŋ36,200 respectively. These are fixed fees for defined scopes — not estimates that expand as the engagement progresses. The fee covers all consultant time, working sessions, data review, and the final written deliverable.

For businesses comparing consulting costs, these fees sit well below what Bangkok-based or international firms typically charge for equivalent work. The difference reflects our lower operating cost base in Chiang Mai, not a difference in the quality of the work.

Outcomes That Are Actionable, Not Just Interesting

Every report we produce includes prioritised, specific recommendations — not a list of observations that leaves your team to figure out what to do with them. We describe what to address first, why, and what a reasonable first step looks like given your resources.

We also conduct a handover session after delivery to walk through the findings, answer questions, and make sure the report is genuinely useful rather than filed on a shelf. Ninety-four percent of our clients return for follow-on engagements — we take that as a reasonable signal that the work produces value.

What Sets Us Apart

Distinctive Features of Our Practice

Programmes Designed for SMEs, Not Scaled Down from Enterprise Work

Our three programmes were built specifically for small and growing businesses. The scope, methodology, and deliverable format reflect what is actually useful to a business with 5–100 employees — not a stripped-down version of something designed for a corporation.

Recommendations Sized to What You Can Act On

We don't recommend hiring a team of specialists if you have two people on payroll. What we suggest is calibrated to your actual resources, timeline, and capacity — so the next steps in our report are realistic, not aspirational.

No Supplier Referral Relationships

We don't accept commissions or fees from any third-party supplier we might recommend. If we suggest a particular type of software, service provider, or supplier approach, it's because the evidence points to it — not because someone is paying us to say so.

Mutual NDA as Standard, Not on Request

We initiate the confidentiality agreement — you don't need to ask. Before any substantive discussion of your business, we propose and sign a mutual NDA. This protects both parties and establishes the right tone from the beginning.
